B.SC. NURSING

Today Bachelor of Nursing is considered to be one of the best Career Courses for female students. Any female student appearing/passed Standard XII (10+2) examination under Science stream can take the opportunity to become a nurse and pursue a lucrative career in nursing. But, before that, one has to clear different Entrance Examinations conducted by different State Boards in which apart from Biological Sciences, Physics and Chemistry, questions on General Awareness (Science related) and English are frequently asked. Here, at first, we look into the eligibility criteria to appear in such B.Sc. Nursing Entrance Examinations.

Eligibility Conditions

One has to clear the 10+2 Board Examination in Science stream with the subject combination Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) and English (PCBE) securing a minimum of 50% (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) marks taken together. Apart from that, one has to pass in all the subjects mentioned above separately in Written and Practical parts. Moreover, the age of the candidate must be more than 17 years on 31st December of the year in which the Entrance Examination is being conducted.
